KRIF is considering the possibility of implementing charging stations in the Omsk Region for vehicles that do not use an internal combustion engine. Implementing the project requires the creation of infrastructure for electric vehicles.

A charging station consists of a power column connected to the electricity supply, occupying an area of about 1 square meter. In addition to the regional networks of fuel filling stations in Omsk and the region, the possibility of placing electric charging points on the grounds adjacent to shopping centers is being considered.

From June 10 to June 12, in Shenzhen, KRIF partner Mikhail Derevyanko held several business meetings with a major manufacturing company that produces equipment for charging stations (with 3 plants in the People's Republic of China) and a large investment fund that invests in new energy projects.

As a result of the meetings with the manufacturing plant, the organizations reached agreements on the supply of equipment meeting all the necessary requirements, in the required volumes and within suitable timeframes. An agreement was also reached on establishing a joint Russian-Chinese enterprise on the territory of the Russian Federation, with a view to creating a production base in Russia. If the project in the Omsk Region is successfully implemented, subsequent scaling across the territory of the Russian Federation is planned.

During the meetings with the investment fund in Shenzhen, agreements were reached on the possibility of the fund investing up to 100% of the project's cost.
