Capital for technology, and a route into China
KRIF selects projects and invests its own capital. Where a project is not yet ready for capital, we prepare it and take it to investors — predominantly in China. We work first with companies that can be worth more once they enter the Chinese market.

Three ways we work
The fund does one thing in three forms. It puts its own money into projects it believes in, it makes projects fit to receive other people's money, and it brings Chinese capital to the table once a project can withstand scrutiny. A company usually enters through one of them and moves to the next.
We invest ourselves
We select projects against our own criteria and enter with the fund's capital, from 1,500,000 ₽ at pre-seed to 2 billion ₽ at growth stage. We take a seat in the corporate agreement and stay with the team through scale-up.
We prepare and place
Where the fund does not invest alone, we package the project for institutional capital: financial model, valuation, corporate and IP structure, data room, pitch in three languages. Then we take it to investors.
We bring Chinese investors
After preparation and due diligence we introduce the project to Chinese funds, corporations, industrial parks and family offices, and we run the negotiation on the ground in Chinese.
The combined capitalisation of the fund's portfolio companies exceeds 1 billion ₽. The fund is registered in Russia and holds a permanent representative office in Qingdao, People's Republic of China.
Why the Chinese market is the argument
A technology company that is priced against the Russian market alone is priced against a ceiling. The same company with a manufacturing partner, a distribution channel and a licence in China is a different asset — with a different valuation, a different buyer list and a different exit. Our position is that this shift, not a pitch deck, is what raises the money.
- Access to industrial partners and contract manufacturing in Guangdong, Shandong and Jiangsu.
- Entity registration, licensing, certification and the tax perimeter, handled on the ground.
- Chinese investors who buy a market position, not a slide — funds, corporations, industrial parks, family offices.
- Negotiation and documentation in Chinese, with our own people in the room.
