In its first year of operation, the "Russian House" welcomed more than 1,000 guests from 60 countries. More than 50 events were held as part of the business program, covered by more than 120 media representatives from various countries around the world.

The "Russian House" is a unique venue that, given its status and capabilities, allows participants to organize business events at various levels, such as business meetings, project presentations, panel sessions, and round tables. The "Russian House" also features a cultural and sports program for project partners. The space of Russia's official residence in Davos includes rooms for business meetings, conference halls, rooms for business breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and lounge areas for meetings in an informal setting.

To ensure the business program addresses current economic topics, it is developed anew each year. Events at the "Russian House" attract figures from Russian and international business. The residence in Davos demonstrates to the world that our country is ready for dialogue and cooperation.

From January 21 to 25, 2019, the World Economic Forum (WEF) opened its doors to representatives from 50 countries. This year, the forum was titled "Globalization 4.0: Shaping a New Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

In addition to major Russian businesspeople, the events were attended by Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin, Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, Chairman of the Management Board of SIBUR Holding Dmitry Konov, and Vice President of IHS Markit Daniel Yergin.

"Today, innovative projects and services serve simultaneously as the main driver and an effective tool for improving quality and increasing the volume of investment. Raising our country's competitiveness in the high-tech market will not only affect economic development and the growth of non-oil exports, but will also benefit every sphere of life," notes Maxim Oreshkin.

Alexey Gorodishenin, a partner of KRIF, took part in the business events of the "Russian House" in Davos. "The Russian House is an effective venue for work, holding meetings, and promoting Russia on the international stage. It was gratifying to be able to feel at home in Davos while being far from it. I thank the staff of Roscongress for organizing this superb venue. Davos today inspired, warmed, and fed us. An international atmosphere of cosmopolitanism and transparency was felt throughout."

Today, the "Russian House" is a multi-format platform for developing and stimulating Russian initiatives between business and government, for demonstrating Russia's readiness for joint work, and for promoting Russian culture and traditions on the international stage.
