KRIF to become operator of the Russia-China Friendship House in Qingdao
KRIF is moving to a new level, having succeeded in bringing together government bodies of the two countries and industrial cooperation.
The year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. On May 16, 2019, the Friendship House project was presented in Moscow as part of the large-scale business forum "Russia-China Dialogue, 70 Years: Points of Convergence and Growth." Alexey Vladimirovich Gorodishenin (Chairman of the Board of Directors of KRIF) presented the initiative to the broader public. Amid the trend toward strengthening good-neighborly ties and in support of the Belt and Road Initiative, the youth of the two countries serve as a link between the two peoples. Thus, the Friendship House project, created by young entrepreneurs with the support of the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, KRIF, the Russian Union of Youth, and the All-China Youth Federation, will give new impetus to the development of economic ties.
Alexey Vladimirovich presented the KRIF project on the same stage as Boris Titov (Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights), Zhou Liqun (General Manager of China Chengtong International Investment Ltd. and Chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia), Li Jingyuan (Minister-Counsellor for Trade and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of China in Russia), and others.
KRIF is engaged in developing Russian innovative technology projects in China. In his address, Alexey Vladimirovich spoke about industrial cooperation as a real opportunity to elevate relations between Russia and China to a new level and to displace raw-material exports from their position as the main source of revenue. For several years now, KRIF has been helping the integrator Northern Future of Robotics introduce breakthrough Russian developments at major plants in China.
"It is precisely to facilitate the integration of Russian business into the Chinese economy, on the one hand, and to promote the investment opportunities of our country's regions, on the other, that we decided to act as the operator of the Russia-China Friendship House project in Qingdao," says Alexey Vladimirovich Gorodishenin.
The main objectives of the Russia-China Friendship House are to assist Russian businesses in implementing projects with Chinese partners, to present the investment appeal of Russian regions, to attract investment capital into promising innovative projects, to promote scientific and technological exchange, to strengthen social ties between business communities, and to organize mutual business missions.
