KRIF project participates in the Open Innovations Startup Tour 2019

On February 12–13, 2019, the Open Innovations Startup Tour 2019, organized by the Skolkovo Foundation, was held in Omsk. Today Skolkovo is the most advanced scientific and technological complex for developing and commercializing new technologies. Since 2011, the Startup Tour has been held in various cities across Russia with the goal of identifying promising innovative projects and encouraging applied scientific research. Skolkovo offers its residents special conditions, including non-repayable grants and the services of a modern technology park.

All events involve leading experts, mentors, successful businesspeople, business angels, and representatives of investment funds.

In each city, the Open Innovations Startup Tour includes a varied program: a project competition, training sessions for the development of entrepreneurs and their specific projects, and the exchange of experience among successful businesspeople. The educational program helps all participants answer questions such as: how to create a technology project, how to assemble the right team, how to protect the intellectual property created in the course of technological research, how to enter the market, and how to increase sales volume. Mentors also conduct preliminary work with the projects.

One of KRIF's projects presented to the experts at the Startup Tour and received very useful feedback that will contribute to the project's further development. The KRIF project was also able to exchange experience with businesspeople and mentors, found interested partners, and established contact with several investors.
