Working Meeting with Investment Funds in Nanjing
A partner of KRIF held a series of meetings with investment funds in China.
On November 30, 2018, Mikhail Derevyanko, a partner of KRIF, made a business trip to the Chinese city of Nanjing. During the trip, Mikhail visited a Russian-Chinese business incubator scheduled to open in 2019. The Chinese partners gave a detailed tour of the new building and described all the opportunities the future business incubator would offer. The facility will open under the auspices of the Chinese government. The Russian-Chinese business incubator invites companies in the IT and trade sectors to cooperate, with priority given to innovative companies.
Meetings were also arranged during the trip with two investment funds — one state-owned and one private. With the private Southeast Investment Fund, the parties discussed opportunities for investing in various Russian companies, as well as opening an office in the Russian-Chinese business incubator. During the meeting, participants discussed the challenges and prospects of Russian business operating in China, presented their respective activities, and outlined their areas of interest for bilateral cooperation.
