Business in Georgia for Russians
From March 27 to March 30, 2019, a business mission of Russian entrepreneurs was held in the city of Tbilisi, where the KRIF project received the highest evaluation and drew investor interest.
Georgia has recently begun achieving significant progress in its governance system, which has contributed to the development of favorable conditions for business and the attraction of investment into the country as a whole. At present, Russian businesspeople have not established relationships with businesses in Georgia. This is why there is a need to organize and support the business sphere for Russian investors and businesspeople from Georgia, as well as to establish personal contact in key areas of activity: the hospitality and tourism business, IT technologies, agriculture, and the fashion industry.
The program for receiving Russian business communities in Georgia included round tables on issues of business development between the two countries, practical sessions featuring presentations of business projects, and networking-format business meetings at the request of Russian participants, as well as a rich cultural program in the hospitable Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Tbilisi is the heart of the country, a city rich in centuries-old history and today an important economic, political, transport, scientific, cultural, and spiritual center. During a tour of the House of Justice, guests were briefed on all the details of opening and running a business in Georgia for Russian nationals.
